Phyllis Snodgrass believes that executive leadership is a stewardship entrusted by God. She is dedicated to integrating her faith with her work, viewing the marketplace as a primary mission field where business leaders can affect Kingdom change. Her leadership philosophy is grounded in service, aiming to empower leaders to flourish through Christ-centered principles.

With over 30 years of executive leadership experience in both for-profit and non-profit sectors, Phyllis has a proven track record of driving organizational growth and community impact. Most recently, she served for seven years as CEO of Austin Habitat for Humanity. Under her leadership, the organization expanded its reach into a five-county area, diversified housing models to include row homes and condos, and grew the Austin ReStore into the #1 ReStore in the U.S. for gross receipts.

Prior to Habitat, Phyllis served as the Chief Operating Officer for the Austin Chamber of Commerce, where she oversaw membership development and external messaging. Her background also includes serving as President/CEO for Chambers in San Marcos, Victoria, and Athens, Texas, as well as running her own accounting business. Her leadership has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Austin Business Journal’s “CEO of the Year” (2019), the Greater Austin Chamber’s “Executive Leadership Award” (2018), and the ULI Austin “Vision Award” (2022).

As a Chair for C12 Business Forums in Central Texas, Phyllis equips CEOs and business owners to build great businesses for a greater purpose. She is also a certified Blackaby Spiritual Leadership Coach. Phyllis and her husband, Tim, reside in Wimberley and are partners at Austin Ridge Church’s Dripping Springs campus. They enjoy life with their four adult children and two grandchildren who live in Central Texas.
