Mechelle SalmonAssociate Chair, Central Texas
Mechelle Salmon serves as Associate Chair with C12 Business Forums in Central Texas. C12 is the world’s largest peer-learning organization for Christian CEOs, business owners, and executives, serving 4,000 members throughout the United States and internationally. Mechelle has been serving as a C12 Chair since 2026.
Prior to joining C12, Mechelle served as Co-founder and CEO of H.I.S. Centre (Healthcare, Innovation, Sciences Centre), responsible for strategic vision, $3 million in revenue, and twenty employees. Under her leadership, The Centre became nationally recognized in procedural medicine and advanced experiential healthcare education, developing innovative training programs that attracted physicians, first responders, and healthcare professionals from across the country. She also helped pioneer prevention-driven community healthcare models, including community paramedic programs and Wellness on Wheels, a mobile medical initiative designed to reduce unnecessary emergency room visits and expand healthcare access to underserved populations.
Mechelle’s background also includes more than twenty years leading emergency services, helping transform a rural volunteer department into a fully integrated professional Fire/EMS organization. During her tenure, the organization was recognized as the #1 EMS Provider in the State of Texas, and Mechelle was named Texas EMS Administrator of the Year. Throughout Mechelle’s career, she has been a sought-after coach and mentor in the area of organizational leadership, strategic planning, community health innovation, and mission-driven organizational development.
Additionally, Mechelle actively serves on the board of various non-profit organizations including Acacia Medical Mission, a nonprofit clinic serving uninsured and underinsured individuals. Mechelle lives in Spring Branch with her husband, Drew. They have five children—Zac, Breana, Alison, Andrew, and Joshua—seven grandchildren, and a golden retriever named Tucker.
